Eligible employees at Hamilton Center, Inc. (HCI), enjoy a benefits package that offers many options.
Health Insurance: Medical benefits, provided by Anthem, offer broad, comprehensive coverage for you and your eligible dependents. Coverage begins on the first day of the month following 30 days employment. HCI offers full-time and part-time a high-deductible health plan (HDHP), which offers lower premiums and higher deductibles. An important component of our HDHP is our Health Savings Account (HSA) that HCI makes a bi-weekly contribution directly to your account. A portion of the premium is paid by HCI.
Dental Insurance: Dental care is important to your overall health and wellness program so we offer dental coverage through Guardian Life Insurance Company. A portion of the premium is paid by HCI.
Vision Services: The vision care benefits are provided through the VSP Network and employees can receive discounts up to 50% on glasses and/or contacts from a list of participating providers.
Basic Life/Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance: Life Insurance provides a piece of mind and financial protection for you and your family. HCI provides full-time employees with two times their annual salary in group life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance at no cost to the employee.
Retirement Plan: HCI offers a 401k plan for all of its employees for them to make voluntary contributions towards their retirement. After an employee satisfies the requirements of one (1) year of employment with a minimum of 1,000 hours of service, HCI will contribute five percent (5%) of an employee’s gross earnings to the 401k plan. In addition to the 5%, HCI will also matchup the employees own contributions up to 2% of their earnings.
Paid Time-Off (PTO): PTO combines traditional vacation, personal, and sick leave into one plan to provide eligible employees flexibility of time off. The amount of PTO that accrues each pay period beginning after 90 days is based on the employee’s number of years of service and job classification. This time may be used, cashed out, or rolled over to the next year (limits or restrictions may apply).
Paid Holidays: HCI recognizes the following eight (8) paid holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
Tuition Assistance: Regular, full-time employees are eligible to be reimbursed up to $750 per semester ($11,400 lifetime) of the tuition costs of approved courses taken at approved institutions.
Conferences/Seminars: Job related conferences and seminars are 100% paid for by HCI to assist in obtaining Continuing Educational Units (CEUs).
Clinical Supervision: For those clinical employees looking to become licensed as an LCSW, LMFT, LMHC or HSPP the HCI provides supervised clinical hours of training and reimburses a one-time $500 payment for sitting and taking the license exam.
Long-Term Disability: A full-time regular employee is eligible on the 91st day of a non-pre-existing extended illness for long-term disability insurance coverage. HCI provides the long-term disability coverage at no cost to the employee.
Short-Term Disability: A full-time regular employee is eligible for short-term disability beginning the 46th day of a non-occupational extended illness. The program provides monthly benefits after extended periods of disability caused by non-occupational injury or illness. The covered, eligible employee will receive a bi- weekly benefit during the continued disability period from the 46th to the 91st day of a qualifying disability.
Employee Assistance Program: Work Life Matters is your confidential employee assistance program that offers support and guidance to all members of your household. Professional counselors are available 24 hours a day to assist you with family and personal issues you might be facing or questions you might have at no cost to the employee.
Other benefits also available include: Supplemental Life Insurance for employees and dependents, additional short-term disability protection, cancer expense protection, hospital intensive care plan, and income security plus.
