Parent Support Network Message Board Rules, Policies and Disclaimers:

Please Note: This message board is intended to offer parents a forum for the exchange of constructive ideas, and to offer comforting support for families. All message board threads are recorded for the community's safety and security. Moderators review all activity in this community. Hamilton Center, Inc. is a privately owned corporation and this message board is subject to our regulations; it is not a public domain. Moderators, at their discretion, may remove anyone who is not appropriate for this community and/or who violates the rules and policies outlined below.

1. Rules:
• The Parent Support message board is a parent to parent forum. Responses are from parents who may or may not be certified professionals, and therefore may not be a reliable source of information. Recommendations and opinions expressed by the individuals are solely those of the individuals having access to this site and are not necessarily those recommendations or opinions of Hamilton Center, Inc or their staff. Please discuss any changes in medications or treatment, etc with your doctor or healthcare professional before implementation.
• Vendors, resellers, distributors and anyone who seeks to market to this community ARE NOT PERMITTED TO USE THE MESSAGE BOARD or to contact message board participants directly. This includes collecting contact information from message board community members in order to distribute commercial messages or communicating material not relevant to the forum. Any deliberate marketing to any member of this community is subject to legal action.
• Federal law requires that users be at least 18 years of age before sharing personal information online. Therefore, we require users to be at least 18 years of age in order to use this message board.
• Hamilton Center, Inc. suggests that you do not identify children or other family members by full name. Information shared by the user regarding the specific treatment and/or services of a family member is the choice of the user and is not protected as confidential information.
• Only one nickname per message board user. Logging in under multiple nicknames is not permitted.
• No posting of material which is abusive, vulgar, hateful, discriminatory, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any local, state, or federal law.
• No posting of any material which is knowingly false, defamatory, or inaccurate.
• Talk confronting another's religious beliefs, political views, or other personal or lifestyle preferences will not be tolerated.
• No advertisements, pyramid schemes, chain letters, or solicitations.
• Information obtained from this message board cannot be reproduced in any other forum.
• No arguing; this message board is intended to be used as a supportive environment.
• The Parent support Network reserves the right, in its discretion, to ban users who violate any of the above rules or who engage in other types of disruptive behavior.

Considering the real-time nature of this bulletin board, it is impossible for us to immediately review messages. Please remember that Hamilton Center, Inc. is not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of Hamilton Center, Inc or any entity associated with Hamilton Center, Inc. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email at parentsupport@hamiltoncenter.org. Hamilton Center, Inc. reviews activities and has the ability to remove objectionable messages and will do so within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary.
