Addiction Services

According to the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, more than 13 million American adults have drinking problems, including 8.1 million who are alcoholic. In addition, 22.6 million Americans use illegal drugs each year. Most people who suffer from addiction problems find it necessary to receive professional help. Hamilton Center has been providing addiction services in Indiana since 1971. Services available include:

Evaluation/consultation
Outpatient services - individual and group therapy
Inpatient/detoxification treatment
Intensive outpatient services (IOP)
24-hour crisis intervention services
Case management services
28-day addictions residential program

Hamilton Center, Inc.'s regional system offers hope for those struggling with addiction problems by providing services in a variety of locations in central and west central Indiana. Our array of services ranges from public information to intensive outpatient groups with an emphasis on support from the community at large.

Our staff include psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, psychologists, social workers, case managers, marriage and family therapists, and addiction counselors, who participate as needed in consumers' care. Treatment is individualized and may utilize individual, group and family therapy, case management and educational groups.

Case management is an important part of treatment, providing a link to community resources such as continuing education, vocational training and medical care. Case managers do what is needed to assist the client in living in the community independently.

Treatment is available to children and adolescents with addiction problems. Hamilton Center offers outpatient and intensive outpatient services as appropriate.
