Sara Church

Sara Church My name is Sara Church and I am an outpatient therapist. I work with individuals, couples, families, and groups of a variety of ages at the HCI facility, client's homes, and within local schools. I have been employed with HCI in a variety of capacities for 7 years, working my way up from the bottom of the ladder as I obtained degrees (1st, BS in Psychology from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods University; 2nd, MS in Mental Health Counseling from Indiana State University). I earned my LMHC certification in May of 2011 which means I can provide services to a variety of private insurances (i.e. Anthem) in addition to Medicaid. I really love being a counselor to a variety of clientele, realizing that participation in counseling can be totally life changing. I have a special interest in child and adolescent social, emotional, and behavioral development issues, non-suicidal self harm, LGBT youth and adult acculturation issues, eating disorders, domestic violence, and psychotic disorders. I also have experience treating individuals diagnosed with mood and personality disorders as well as drug and alcohol addiction. I have worked closely with local schools (K-12), the legal system (probation, jail, courts), and Vigo, Sullivan, and Marion county Department of Child Services. If you are interested in seeking counseling, COME IN! You owe it to yourself to have a helping hand through a trying time.
