Life can be complicated. The challenges we experience often make us feel overwhelmed. This is normal. However, there are times in life when you feel extra support could be helpful. Counseling can be an effective step in learning new ways to deal with life's challenges. Are you experiencing emotions and/or behaviors that are impacting your daily life or affecting your relationships with others? I can help you work through these challenges and I am available to listen, support and collaborate with you in developing a plan to move forward.

I provide services to children, adolescents, adults, families and couples. Some of the issues related to my experience include: coping skills, life transitions, marriage difficulties, divorce, grief and loss, childhood abuse, ADHD, oppositional behaviors, family relationships, adolescent behavioral issues, parenting challenges, peer relationships, depression and anxiety.

I offer counseling services that are tailored to your unique needs. My approach is strengths-based. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral, Family Systems and Solution- Focused therapy practices. I graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy and Community Counseling plus I have all the coursework and supervision in to be a Registered Play Therapist; when I work with children I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with various forms of Play Therapy. I also have a passion working with women and helping them through various challenges and doing Marriage Therapy. If you are motivated to change then you would be my ideal client.
