Elaine Sullivan M.S. Mental Health Therapist


Elaine Sullivan graduated from Ball State University with a Major in psychology in Muncie, Indiana. She completed her Masters' degree in Community Psychology at Martin University in 2006, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Elaine's graduate program focused on developing a multicultural approach that focuses on serving urban communities. Upon completion of graduate school, Elaine has worked with adults with severe mental illness. Elaine has worked multiple settings such as residential facilities, prisons, impatient hospitalization, substance abuse treatment, and provided home based therapy. Elaine has worked with a variety of populations i.e. veterans, children, families, and adults. Elaine has experience working with individuals that are struggling with co-occurring diagnosis and substance abuse. Elaine has worked for Hamilton Center, Inc. a community mental center, for 12 years, specializing in working with adults with severe mental illness.

Elaine has received training in a wide range of clinical modalities including: wellness, strength based approach, solution focused, cognitive behavioral techniques, DBT, person centered treatment planning, and recently completed veterans training. Elaine focuses on assisting others with finding and seeing their positive attributes and developing a life that incorporates physical and mental wellness. Elaine is married and has two children. Elaine is an animal lover and enjoys spending time with family, exercising, and reading.
