Assumes responsibility for day- to- day operations and clinical supervision of Case Manager Supervisors, Case Managers, and Direct Skills Technicians.

- Assumes clinical and administrative supervisory responsibility for assigned staff and programs.
- Assists with the establishment of program goals and objectives, continuous quality improvement activities and development and monitoring of program budgets.
- Follows Center procedures regarding the provision of client care and documentation of same.
- Assists in development, implementation and revision of individual treatment plans. Assures that services provided are specified in the treatment plan and monitor progress toward treatment goals.
- Assists with crisis management, facilitate linkages to other community systems and act as an advocate for clients as appropriate with focus on meeting treatment plan goals.
- Monitors caseloads of supervisees and ensures compliance.
- Maintains a high level of ethical conduct regarding confidentiality, dual-relationships and professional stature.
- Participates in continuing education activities, remaining knowledgeable in area(s) of expertise.
- Collaborates with other Center personnel in maintaining the Hamilton Center Case Manager Manual and keeps staff apprised of changes.
- Tracks timeliness of notes and paperwork and meets with supervisors regarding staff issues.
- Demonstrates competent use of Profiler and the ability to assist staff in using the EMR, utilizes reports to identify and address errors, and provides on-site training to staff.
- Completions of required CANS and/or ANSA training and maintains applicable certification.
- Attends staff meetings to provide training and to disseminate information related to OBHP guidleines and procedures. Reviews completed chart audits, completes chart audits, and monitors progress notes and other documentation related to client care. Provides ongoing feedback to staff in regard to individual documentation.
- Maintains knowledge of funding sources related to OBHP service delivery.
- Develops outcome measures and submits improvement recommendations to the Clinical Directors.
- Assists in developing training protocols and curriculum needed for all Case Managers and Direct Skills Technicians.
- Maintains an effective system of communications with staff.
- Tracks mileage expenditures and petty cash expenses and forwards to their supervisors to review and approve; reviews petty cash requests for accuracy.
- Maintains records of Case Managers' expenses for activities with clients.
- Reviews petty cash requests for accuracy.
- Addresses performance problems through corrective action and dismissal.
- Resolves staff problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending actions.
- Ensures that the employee is working under a current job description and in a classification appropriate to the duties. Updates job description, and submit it to Human Resources, as needed.
- Provides employees the information, technology and reference materials necessary to perform their jobs.
- Maintains quality services by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, monitoring performance evaluations, and training staff; developing personal growth opportunities.
- All other duties as assigned.
This position directly supervises Case Manager Supervisors, Case Managers, Direct Skills Technicians.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Hamilton Center's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
This position must work closely with each site Program Manager and Clinical Directors.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, sociology or a related field and supervisory experience in human services preferred.
- Two years of comprehensive case management experience in a Human Services setting is required.
- Knowledge and skills in child growth and development as well as knowledge in community mental health and social services for children and adults.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Willingness to use personal transportation in work capacity and in all weather conditions.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Valid driver's license in accordance with HCI motor vehicle policy.

Conditions of Employment
- Completion of a pre-employment drug screening and completion of post-employment drug or alcohol tests upon reasonable suspicion of use.
- Completion of tuberculin screening no later than three days prior to first work day of employment and annually thereafter.
- Satisfactory completion of an Indiana Department of Child Services National Criminal fingerprinting background check, Indiana State Criminal History Check, Sex and Violent Offender Registry check, Child Protection Services History check and Local law enforcement agency/county sheriff check at the time of hire and every four years (or at contract renewal if more than one year has passed since last fingerprinting) for any employee that has direct contact on a regular and continuing basis with children supervised by Department of Child Services (DSC).
- Satisfactory background screen.
- Completion of new employee orientation and all applicable documentation prior to reporting for work.
- Completion of HCI's Management Training Program within six months of employment.
- Demonstrate computer literacy through successful completion of pre-employment testing.
- Attendance at all mandatory staff development meetings and training sessions.
- Successful completion of a six month on the job orientation period.
- Participation in payroll electronic deposit.
- Adherence to Compliance Program Plan.
